?

What kind of a map should furchee create ?

  1. Pure DM (Medium sized map with jail) [Buck-wild]

    55.6%
  2. Skill / DM (Medium to large sized, equipment / positions better by surf skill) [Legends]

    22.2%
  3. Pure Skill (Skill based. Either Linear or Stage) [Anthro/Gloaming]

    11.1%
  4. Bunny hop / Surf (Bunny hopping with "surfing") [Skate Park]

    11.1%

    WELL

After a tad bit of thinking (literally 15 seconds) I decided I wanted to map up something.
(This includes fixing austinpowers again [Dont worry, not changing the map just fixing])
Now I can't decide whether I should make (and I cant believe I'm saying this) a DM surfing map or a skill/dm or just ... another skill.

I'll attach a poll here and I want you people to explain why you chose whatever you chose.
If you've got ideas of your own on how I should design the map (or want some part in it), I'm all ears to any of your ideas.

    Thanks ! :3

P.s. This map is going to be created as soon as Valve (retards) push the update to fix their fuckups. (steampipe)
Since the files are now apks in CSS (compressed), hammer has no fucking idea what's happening and all the
custom content that it requires isn't being read.
Materials/files/configs are all in completely new directories.
I messed around with it, managed to get SOMETHING working,
but it's fucked enough to crash each time I load in a map.

I kinda disagree with the poll ideas. I think you should try something unique for DM since most of the DM maps are pretty bad.

You could try a king of the hill style map where both teams compete to hold a point for five minutes. You would of course need to have anti-camp systems on the point but it could be fun if pulled off correctly.

    Edit:

If you don't feel like doing that, I would go for something pure DM.

That reminds me of a map where it was ... exactly that. A king of the hill sort of deal (the "hill" was a high platform). The map sucked complete dick though.

That being said, that's not actually a bad idea.

As for another big loop, fuck no. It does nothing but encourage people to run around scripting their bunny hops and using launch pads to gain speed.
That's far from something that requires skill, so no thanks.

Im talking about jail less map like bigloop is, not about another copy of bigloop.

Well... I sometimes play Anthro for nostalgia... Brings back quite a few good memories for myself... No matter what you do I am sure it will turn out good... Long as it doesn't involve furry shit or surfing... I kid...

Furchee, for the problems with mapping, I think you can fix it by going to CSS properties, betas, and opting in for the sdktools_beta. From what I heard, that should fix the problems with SteemPaipe.
