Now that Ember has found out how to bypass the protected map feature in vmex, I was able to fix the issues in gm_ps_hugeflatconstruct map and I have recompiled it with the changes. After recompiling, all the textures that are supposed to have reflections have pink checkerboards, which I know means its missing the texture. It also prints out errors relating to cubemap textures not being found to the console when you enter the game. I have uploaded 2 screenshots of the recompiled version. The first screenshot shows that the grass has been fixed and props will not get lost under it. The second screenshot shows the missing texture issue with the pink checkerboard texture. Here is what the errors in console say: Code: could get hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c13168_-5674_12.hdr --trying non hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c13168_-5674_12 default error texture maps/gm_facewantest/cubemapdefault could get hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11494_-6811_12.hdr --trying non hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11494_-6811_12 default error texture maps/gm_facewantest/cubemapdefault could get hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11532_-5014_12.hdr --trying non hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11532_-5014_12 default error texture maps/gm_facewantest/cubemapdefault could get hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11361_-3752_12.hdr --trying non hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11361_-3752_12 default error texture maps/gm_facewantest/cubemapdefault could get hdr maps/gm_facewantest/c11432_-1926_12.hdr default error texture maps/gm_facewantest/cubemapdefault
Hm, I dunno. In my game, when ever I play around and make a swep, my reflection's usually get like this too, but it only happens when I made a new swep and changed it while gmod was running. I suspect the Aristocats..
I just fixed the map, the only thing I did was rip those fucking env_cubemaps out and change the skybox.
